In early October 2023, a war erupted between Israel and Hamas which has controlled Gaza since 2006, marking the most significant escalation of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in several decades. In this article, we will outline the losses and gains of Hamas in the current conflict.

26. The United States acknowledged Israel's right to self-defense, while Russia, emphasized that it is the Palestinians who should have the right to self-defense, highlighting Israel as the oppressor, not the victim.
